Virginia Raper, Administrator

Virginia Raper is the Administrator of Bishop Davies Nursing Center. As the administrator, Virginia oversees the overall management of our facility.

Before joining our staff, Virginia began her career as a Nursing Home Administrator in her native Weatherford, Texas in 1992. Virginia chose to pursue a career as an Administrator because of her personal experience as a family member of a nursing home resident when her father entered a nursing home.

Virginia began volunteering at the nursing facility where her father was a resident, and found that she enjoyed the experience very much. So much so, that she decided to begin studying for the Texas Nursing Home Administrator licensure examination. Virginia says that taking care of others is the best part of her work and is driven to do a great job because all of her residents deserve to have the highest quality of care possible.

Virginia has been married for seven years, and has two grown children, Lisa and Charles. Her third child is a much adored American Husky named Mosco. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, she also enjoys gardening and scuba diving.
Virginia is a graduate of Charleston State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in communications.
