Medical Care

While our center provides a comfortable and stimulating living environment for our residents, it is the people of Bishop Davies Nursing Center who truly make the difference. The healthcare provided to residents by our team of medical professionals is a shining example of what happens when an approach to quality care utilizes dedicated and highly skilled professionals to ensure the most beneficial care for residents.

From our Medical Director to the Licensed Administrator and Director of Nursing to the full complement of RNs, LVNs, Therapists and Social Workers, Bishop Davies Nursing Center is staffed with medical personnel at all times to meet the individual needs of our residents. Certified Nurse Assistants are on duty around the clock to assist with activities of daily living.

In addition, physicians visit the center regularly to provide primary care to our residents. Bishop Davies Nursing Center also holds the distinction of offering a full spectrum of specialist care directly in the center. Without our residents ever having to leave the facility they can be seen by specialists offering Dental, Audiology, Opthmology, Podiatry, and Psychiatric services. For those residents requiring other specialist care or dialysis, our staff will coordinate transportation to and from the center to those appointments.
