About Us

Bishop Davies Nursing Center is a premier long term care facility located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and is convenient to all of the healthcare and recreational resources that these great cities have to offer. We provide inpatient nursing home care, inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation care, hospice care, and in-home health care to residents from the many communities that make up the Mid-Cities area between Dallas and Fort Worth, including: Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Colleyville, Southlake, Grapevine, North Richland Hills, Coppell, Arlington, and Grand Prairie.

Founded in 1976 by a group of Episcopalians, led by Bishop A. Donald Davies, Bishop Davies Nursing Center is committed to providing outstanding care to our residents in a compassionate manner.

It has been our goal throughout these many years to shed the stigma associated with nursing homes being a place where people come to expire, and instead have worked to create an environment where our residents, their families, and our staff are joyful and full of life. We feel that we have done just that.

In fact, everything we do at Bishop Davies Nursing Center revolves around the health and well being of our residents, and we remind ourselves daily that they are the reason why we are all here.

We understand that the decision to place a loved one in a nursing home is one of the most difficult decisions that one will ever make, so we have committed to keeping the lines of communication between our staff and residents’ families open. We encourage family members to become involved in, and actively listen when a family member has thoughts about, their loved ones care.

It is this genuine dedication to our residents and their families that has positioned us as a community leader in long-term and short-term nursing home care.

Our exemplary staff is another of the reasons that Bishop Davies Nursing Center is such a great place for seniors. It is often said that a business with long-term employees is a good one. At Bishop Davies Nursing Center our staff is like our family, and many have been a part of our team for 10-15 years, with some that have been with us for more than 25 years. We feel that the longevity of our staff speaks volumes about the wonderful environment within our nursing home.
